The Bahamas are blessed with a great selection of impressive resort complexes offering all amenities: Some have their own marina and yacht club, others are on the beach, many have both. Some offer a different restaurant for each day of the week; many of them have tennis courts and gyms and you are never far from a golf course. You are picked you up at the lobby for diving, snorkeling or excursions, or many water sports can be enjoyed on their own beach.

For all budgets and needs, The Bahamas offer a great array of accommodations. If you enjoy being pampered and like finding everything in one spot – from meals to sports – you may want to look at an all-inclusive resort. In New Providence, you can find them on Cable Beach, an area next to Nassau with a large beach along a tranquil and translucent bay.

For the true individualist The Bahamas offer several alternatives. There a many small, charming hotels and Bed & Breakfast spots, built and decorated in Bahamian style surrounded by nothing but nature. On every island, you will discover beautiful condominium resorts - generally less expensive than hotels while you get a full sized apartment with separate bedrooms. You can supply your own groceries and utilize the well-equipped kitchens; buy fresh fish on the docks and try your own recipe. Many of them have their own marina and yacht club. Generally, these condo resorts also offer timesharing units can be the best choice for holidays in elegant and exclusive surroundings.

You are not restricted to resorts in your choices; from exclusive private villas near Nassau to lovely wooden cottages on remote islands or cays – everything is available.
In New Providence, most of the hotels, condos and timeshare units are concentrated on Paradise Island and Cable Beach. Others are in Nassau and toward the West End of the island. In Grand Bahama, most vacation resorts are located around the area of Lucaya, Freeport, from Xanadu Beach in the southwest to Fortune Beach on the Southeast of the island. In the Family islands, resorts, hotels and vacation homes tend to be located around the main tourists attractions, beaches and marinas.
